Infrastructure & Energy lawyers at Walker Morris (www.walkermorris.co.uk) have advised Waystone
Hargreaves Land LLP on the sale of two units of its 650-acre Unity Project in South Yorkshire, providing
more than 3,000 homes, a new town centre, offline marina, school and transport hub, with over 60

Waystone Hargreaves Land LLP is the joint venture behind the Unity Yorkshire development in Doncaster, a mixed-use development, which is one of the largest regeneration and infrastructure projects of its kind in the UK.
It has exchanged contracts with Aver Property Limited Partnership for the sale of two distribution and industrial units on the development. The company is set to purchase two plots of 19 acres and 10 acres which, on legal completion, will generate combined revenue in excess of £50m for the joint venture. Both units will e located on Unity Connect, which is the dedicated employment area of Unity located immediately adjacent to junction 5 of the M18 motorway.
The Walker Morris team, which comprised Judith Pike, Jake Smith, Sam Parkinson and Jules Harbage, advised Waystone Hargreaves Land on the land and construction aspects of the project.
Judith Pike co-head of the Infrastructure & Energy Team at Walker Morris commented: “This latest sale is another major milestone in this ambitious and exciting development. With the new link road between Unity’s various zones and the M18 now built, we expect to see more opportunities develop.”
