Unity Project advised by Walker Morris

 

Infrastructure & Energy lawyers at Walker Morris (www.walkermorris.co.uk) have advised Waystone

Hargreaves Land LLP on the sale of two units of its 650-acre Unity Project in South Yorkshire, providing

more than 3,000 homes, a new town centre, offline marina, school and transport hub, with over 60

hectares of commercial uses and  over 80 hectares of open spaces.

Waystone Hargreaves Land LLP is the joint venture behind the Unity Yorkshire development in Doncaster, a mixed-use development, which is one of the largest regeneration and infrastructure projects of its kind in the UK.

It has exchanged contracts with Aver Property Limited Partnership for the sale of two distribution and industrial units on the development. The company is set to purchase two plots of 19 acres and 10 acres which, on legal completion, will generate combined revenue in excess of £50m for the joint venture. Both units will e located on Unity Connect, which is the dedicated employment area of Unity located immediately adjacent to junction 5 of the M18 motorway.

The Walker Morris team, which comprised Judith Pike, Jake Smith, Sam Parkinson and Jules Harbage, advised Waystone Hargreaves Land on the land and construction aspects of the project.
