Specialist food ingredient manufacturer FDL is the latest high profile name to join iforce,

Screwfix, Altecnic, Culina Logistics and Saint-Gobain in securing prime industrial space at

Ergo 66 (www.ergostafford.co.uk) in Stafford, announces Aver Property, a joint venture

between NFU Mutual and Ergo Real Estate (www.ergo-re.com).

FDL has agreed to a to a 15-year lease of Unit 1 of the Ergo 66 industrial site (www.ergostafford.co.uk), located approximately 1 mile from Junction 14 of the M6 motorway which provides good communications to Manchester to the north as well as Birmingham and the M6 Toll to the south.

The unit boasts a steel portal frame construction with profile clad elevations and insulated profile clad roofs and are completed to a high quality sustainable specification, targeting an EPC Rating of A and BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating.  “FDL is delighted to have secured such a high quality unit in this prime location, which is pivotal to progressing our growth plans in Staffordshire over the coming many years,” says Wayne Daw, Chief Operations Officer, FDL.

Ergo 66 is located off Shackleton Way, in an established distribution location 1.5 miles north of Stafford town centre.  The Stoke and Stafford market is home to a range of established businesses which have built strong bases in the area, benefitting from a workforce of 151,000 people in the locale which is set to increase due to several planned new build residential developments.  The business park also benefits from a range of amenities to include a Premier Inn hotel and The Shire House and Brewers Fayre pubs.
